Johan Rachmat Santosa has extensive experiences in managing community resilience strengthening programming, program development and organization management in the last 15 years with various organizations such as Global Communities (previously Community Habitat and Finance International), International Organization for Migration (IOM), Chemonics US, Cordaid Netherland and Caritas Indonesia. Johan has also had reputable experiences for delivering technical facilitation on the making of Resilient Community Action Plan (RCAP) in various countries, facilitation of the making of Multi-Stakeholder Collaboration Joint Agenda and implementing advocacy works and designing communication strategy.

Since 2014 until 2020, Johan managed Cordaid programs in Indonesia and supported Cordaid in various program development and strengthening the network and collaboration with all Cordaid organization partners in Indonesia. Since 2020 until now, Johan is the member of Indonesia National Watershed Forum under the Directorate General of Watershed Management of Indonesia Ministry of Environment and Forestry focusing on Climate Change Adaptation and Disaster Risk Reduction measures on watershed areas.
